Cool.
What you do to put food on the table and take care of your individual and collective responsibilities is you employment, your job.
How you do your job and the spirit you bring to your job is your calling.

I didn’t find this hard to hear, I found it relieving. To hear that the struggle to find one’s calling and the confusion that surrounds it is common to all of us, was relieving.
I enjoyed the insight he shared on trying to discern our calling from personality tests and job aptitude tests and even spiritual gifts. And that it steered me once again to turn my attention towards my heart and the desires that are there and what God has been speaking to me. Not always a comfortable place to be! It’s safer to have a step-by-step ‘this is what you were made for’, bacause desire can be messy! Blood, sweat and tears stuff.
Thank you for continuing to point us in the right direstion on our journey. For being a lighthouse for us.
I like that U2’s video – I still haven’t found what I’m looking For is on here as well. How appropriate.
